The 5th Yangtze River Delta Conference on Integrated Development and Cooperation of Disabled Persons was held at the Shanghai Noble Center from April 13th to 15th.   Leaders of the Disabled Persons' Federation of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui provinces and cities attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

  The meeting believes that in the past four years, the four disability federations have widely gathered consensus, actively built platforms, fully aggregated resources, studied one theme per year, and worked together and resonated with each other in areas such as mutual assistance in disability rehabilitation services, education and employment, interconnection of rights and interests protection, promotion of publicity and sports, and mutual learning of experience in the construction and development of disability federations, moving from "geographical proximity" to "social affinity", Continuously enhancing the cohesion and centripetal force of disability work in the Yangtze River Delta region.

  The meeting pointed out that assistive devices, as a crucial part of basic public services, achieving the integration of assistive devices in the Yangtze River Delta is not only an urgent need for the people with disabilities in the entire region to enhance their mobility, establish confidence in life, and return to social life, but also an important path to drive more equal development of assistive services and promote the integrated development of disability undertakings in the Yangtze River Delta. We need to fully leverage the support of digital technology, jointly build a comprehensive platform for the informationization of auxiliary equipment networks in the Yangtze River Delta, achieve the "three unifications" of auxiliary equipment public service platforms, catalog lists, and resource services, and promote the integrated development of auxiliary equipment adaptation services in the Yangtze River Delta region. At the meeting, the launch ceremony of the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Service Platform for Disabled Assistants was held.

  Professor Zhang Shiwu, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering Science at the University of Science and Technology of China, was invited to give a speech on "Intelligent Rehabilitation Robots for Adaptive Rehabilitation Training". This article mainly discusses the research direction of robots, the application of rehabilitation robot products, technological achievements, and the introduction of the establishment of the "Robot Joint Laboratory" between Aibo Intelligence and the University of Science and Technology of China.

  In the future, Anhui Province will focus on the technical foundation of artificial intelligence and intelligent robots, focusing on the restoration of sports functions, safe and accessible travel, and speech barrier free communication. The Disabled Persons' Federation of the Three Provinces and One City will also uphold the principle of solidarity and mutual assistance, strengthen connectivity, and achieve more reform and innovation results, benefiting a wider range of disabled people in the Yangtze River Delta!
