On October 11, CCTV's "Morning News World" reported on the current situation of China's rehabilitation assistive devices industry with the theme of "Observation of Assistive Devices Industry". With the development of society and the improvement of people's living standards, the demand for assistive devices in China has gradually changed from the basic general type in the past to personalized customization and comfort. However, at present, China's domestic assistive device R&D and production system is not perfect, and the supply of assistive devices cannot fully meet the needs of society. In response to this situation, the government has actively introduced relevant industry promotion policies, explored various forms, and comprehensively promoted the high-quality development of the assistive devices industry.

In the interview, Su Ying, general manager of Anhui Aibo Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., said: the high-end rehabilitation assistive device industry is a capital and technology-intensive industry, its investment is high, the cycle is long, the return on cost is slow, from technology to products to services is a long chain, we found a good demand, its technology can be solved through a period of research, at this time facing the problem of industrialization. Followed by market promotion, acceptance, and willingness to pay, in fact, we are facing some difficulties.

In view of the weak R&D capabilities of high-end personalized assistive devices in enterprises, the government advocates the integration of resources from universities, hospitals, enterprises and other parties to build an integrated platform for production, education and research, and fully promote the R&D of mid-to-high-end assistive devices. iFLYTEK Aibo Intelligence has cooperated with the University of Science and Technology of China to build a joint laboratory, integrate advantageous resources, and carry out innovative integration and cross-border strategic cooperation. The joint laboratory will carry out basic research, forward-looking technology and key common technology research related to the direction of AI+ robotics, and carry out industry-university-research transformation.
